Practising for the olympics

School

When I was a freshamn in high school I was running late to my English class, which was right after lunch. I had run to my locker real quick to get my books and then booked down the hall.

Our highschool was an old two story building with big grand staircases. As I was running down the stairs my feet decided to play a trick on me and I stumbled towards the railing. Since I was running I had quite a bit of momentum built up.

Anyway, I hit the railing so fast that I flipped over and did a complete flip landing smack on my butt. And of course, not only was I embarrassed that I tripped, but I did it in front of the senior hall where they all saw.

After a second or two passed and the initial shock wore off and I realized I was okay, I got back up and started collecting my books. All of the seniors started laughing and applauding and yelling "9.6 or 10" judging my fall.

I took of running for my English class and the teacher had asked me why I was red and out of breath. Then one of the students who saw had to tell the whole class what happened and they all laughed again.

I still laugh about that to this day and I am now 30 years old.
