Mistakes

In my teens, I was on a double date. My date was driving and the other guy used to try to needle me all the time. This night he was saying that women really needed men because women couldn't do any repair work or build things themselves. Having a really capable Mom who built all sorts of things, I responded with, "There are plenty of women who, with a hammer and nails, a screwdriver and a few screws can do fine by themselves."

My date had to pull off the road to compose himself and I was frantically trying to find a way under the car seat.
